Humboldt martens are found in old-growth forests in northern california and Oregon, and there are only less than 400 of them left on earth. the increasing number of marijuana cultivation is causing deforestation, and putting these martens in greater threats. other wildlife like northern spotted owls, barred owls and fishers, are also threatened by the toxic pesticides used by these farms.
